CDER Group takes on COVID 19 support role for Health and Safety Executive
One of the UK’s leading enforcement suppliers, CDER Group, has recently expanded their service offering to provide COVID-secure spot check visits for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
CDER Group’s Agents will undertake spot check visits on business premises on behalf of the HSE and Local Authorities across England, Wales and Scotland. These checks will help to establish that businesses have taken the necessary steps to make their premises COVID-secure and implemented measures to reduce the transmission of coronavirus to protect workers, visitors and customers.
CDER Group’s Spot Check Support Officers will provide support to the HSE by speaking with the responsible person in each business to check the COVID-secure measures they have in place. Using HSE’s comprehensive guidelines they will also provide businesses with basic guidance and advice.
CDER Group Project Director, Andy Cummins said of the project, “I am delighted to be working with the HSE to carry out this COVID-19 support work which will be done by our field force of skilled and fully vetted agents. Our Spot Check Support Officers have been provided with training by the HSE and have really embraced the important support role we are providing. I am proud that CDER Group is making a real contribution to the Government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and helping the HSE to ensure that businesses and workplaces nationwide are COVID-secure”.
CDER Group CEO, Nick Tubbs added, “I am so pleased that CDER Group is working with another Government department, the HSE, to deliver such a vital service. I am particularly pleased that, once again, staff from across CDER Group have risen to the challenge”.
